This product includes lysate of HEK293T cells that have been transiently-tranfected with Human SUN1 (NM_001130965), cells transfected with the vector alone, and a reducing buffer for SDS-Page gel loading. Cells were lysed using Modified RIPA buffer (25mM Tris-HCl pH7.6, 150mM NaCl, 1% NP-40, 1mM EDTA, 1xProteinase inhibitor cocktail mix, 1mM PMSF, and 1mM Na3VO4). Western blot: Spin down briefly and dilute with 2xSDS Sample Buffer provided (4% SDS, 125mM Tris-HCl pH6.8, 10% Glycerol, 0.002% Bromphenol blue, 100mM DTT). Prior to SDS-PAGE fractionation, boil the lysate for 5-10 minutes.

Store at -80°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. After dilution, the protein sample should be aliquoted and stored at -80°C for long term storage. Lysate samples are stable for 12 months when stored at -80°C.
