Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
TIGAR Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 283 amino acids (including the 270 residues of full-length TIGAR and a 13-residue C-terminal TAT peptide) and having a molecular mass of 31.7kDa. The TIGAR is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC
Lyophilized from 20 mM PBS, pH 7.0, 20 mM NaCl, 5% Trehalose.
Store at -20°C lyophilized. Once reconstituted, aliquot to avoid freeze/thaw and store at -20°C.
TIGAR is regulated as part of the p53 tumor suppressor pathway and encodes a protein with sequence similarity to the bisphosphate domain of the glycolytic enzyme that degrades fructose-2,6-bisphosphate. The protein functions by blocking glycolysis and directing the pathway into the pentose phosphate shunt. Expression of this protein also protects cells from DNA damaging reactive oxygen species and provides some protection from DNA damage-induced apoptosis.
