  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About APOC2 / Apolipoprotein C II

P02655 NM_000483 NP_000474.2

APOC2 Protein, Apolipoprotein C-II Protein, APO-CII Protein, Apolipoprotein C2 Protein, APOC-II Protein

Apolipoprotein (apo) C-II is a necessary cofactor for the activation of lipoprotein lipase, the enzyme that hydrolyzes triglycerides in plasma and transfers the fatty acids to tissues. ApoC-II gene contains 3338 nucleotides with 3 introns, of 2391, 167, and 298 bases, and 4 exons. The first intron is located within the 5-prime untranslated region of the gene and contains 4 Alu sequences. The second intron interrupts the codon specifying amino acid -11 of the signal peptide.
