Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
For the detection and quantification of endogenous levels of natural and/or recombinant Human Beta Amyloid proteins.
LS-F24364 is a 96-well enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the Quantitative detection of Human APP / Beta Amyloid Precursor in samples of Cell Culture Supernatants, Plasma, Serum and Tissue Homogenates. It is based upon a Sandwich assay principle and can be used to detect levels of APP / Beta Amyloid Precursor as low as 7 picograms per milliliter.
Due to their limited shelf life, LSBio ELISA kits are not typically stocked as finished goods. Upon receipt of an order each kit is assembled and tested to ensure that it meets specifications before shipping. Minor changes may occur to the Range, Sensitivity, and Precision. In the event of a significant change the order would be confirmed with the customer before shipping ELISA kit lot numbers reflect the date of final assembly and testing for each specific kit rather than a bulk manufactured lot. All kits are tested to confirm that they fall within their defined Inter- and Intra- assay coefficient of variation.

Amyloid precursor protein (APP) is an integral membrane protein expressed in many tissues and concentrated in the synapses of neurons. Its primary function is not known, though it has been implicated as a regulator of synapse formation, neural plasticity and iron export. APP is best known and most commonly studied as the precursor molecule whose proteolysis generates beta amyloid (Aß), a 39- to 42-amino acid peptide whose amyloid fibrillar form is the primary component of amyloid plaques found in the brains of Alzheimer's disease patients. APP undergoes posttranslational proteolytic processing by alpha-, beta-, and gamma-secretases. Alpha-secretase generates soluble amyloid protein, while beta- and gamma-secretases generate APP components with amyloidogenic features. These 2 processing pathways are mutually exclusive.
Store at 4°C for 6 months or at -20°C for one year. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
Functions as a cell surface receptor and performs physiological functions on the surface of neurons relevant to neurite growth, neuronal adhesion and axonogenesis. Involved in cell mobility and transcription regulation through protein-protein interactions. Can promote transcription activation through binding to APBB1-KAT5 and inhibits Notch signaling through interaction with Numb. Couples to apoptosis-inducing pathways such as those mediated by G(O) and JIP.
