Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specifications

Description
VIPR1 antibody LS-C154859 is an unconjugated goat polyclonal antibody to mouse VIPR1. Validated for Peptide-ELISA and WB.

Target
Mouse VIPR1
Host
Goat
Reactivity
Mouse (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Clonality
Polyclonal
Conjugations
Unconjugated
Purification
Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Modifications
Unmodified
Applications
  • Western blot (1 - 3 µg/ml)
  • Peptide Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (1:1000)
Immunogen
VIPR1 antibody was raised against peptide with sequence C-QLFSPIHGYNISRN, from the internal region of the protein sequence according to NP_035833.2.
Blocking Peptide
LS-E27732 - Lyophilized - 100 µg - $145.00
Immunizing peptide used to generate LS-C154859. Useful for pre-absorption and neutralization of the antibody's antigen binding site.
Epitope
aa91-104
Specificity
Mouse VIP Receptor 1.
Usage
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:2000. Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 20kD band in Mouse Small Intestine lysates after 0.1 ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 52.1kD according to NP_035833.2. The 20kD band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
Presentation
TBS, pH 7.3, 0.02% Sodium Azide, 0.5% BSA
Storage
Aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
