Human, Mouse, Rat, Bovine, Dog, Hamster
(tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Also available conjugated with AP
Protein A purified
- Western blot
- (applications tested for the base form of this product only)
SUV39H1 antibody was raised against kLH-conjugated, synthetic peptide (C-QVDPVDMESTRMDSNFGLAGLPGSP) corresponding to amino acids 368-392 of mouse suppressor of variegation 3-9 homolog 1 (SUV39H1) with an N-terminal cysteine added for conjugation purposes. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Orangutan, Gibbon, Monkey, Mouse, Rat, Hamster, Elephant, Dog, Bovine (100%); Marmoset, Bat, Rabbit (96%); Xenopus (80%).
Recognizes SUV39H1 Mr ~48kD. Species cross-reactivity: Human. Predicted to cross-react with rat and mouse based on sequence homology.
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Western Blot: 0.5-1 ug/m detected SUV39H1 in U20S cells lysed in RIPA with 0.1% SDS and sonicated. U20S cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti-SUV39H1 (1 ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using a goat antirabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.
