Recognizes SGLT-1. This sequence may also be conserved in other transporters. It is not known if This antibody will also identify SGLT-1 like, SGLT-2 or SGLT-3 proteins. Species cross-reactivity: Rabbit, rat, mouse, human, pig, cat, dog, reptiles and birds. Species sequence homology: Rabbit, bovine and sheep: 100%; equine and rat: 94%; pig: 89%; chicken: 86%; human: 84%. The Other Sequence Homology: mouse SGLT-3; human SGLT-4a/4b: 84%; human SAAT/SGLT-3:78%; human and rat SGLT-2:63%.
