Goat IgG antibody LS-C828426 is an FITC-conjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody. Validated for ELISA, ICC, IF and IHC.
Host
Rabbit
Reactivity
Goat (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Clonality
IgG Polyclonal
Conjugations
FITC
Purification
Purified
Modifications
Unmodified
Immunogen
Purified normal IgG isolated from pooled goat serum. Freund’s complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.
Specificity
Fluorescein isothiocyanate–conjugated IgG fraction of polyclonal Rabbit antiserum to Goat IgG, heavy and light chains, adsorbed for cross-reactivity with Human and Mouse immunoglobulins. Inter-species cross-reactivity is a normal feature of antibodies to mammalian immunoglobulins, since homologous proteins of different species frequently share antigenic determinants. The degree of cross-reactivity is also dependent on the concentRations of the reactants and the sensitivity of the assay arrangement. If the product is to be used in the presence of material originating from an other species than Human and Mouse, prior screening for cross-reactivity with that material is essential and additional adsorption of the reagent may be required to ensure intra-assay specificity.
Applications
  • IHC - Frozen
  • ICC
  • Immunofluorescence
  • ELISA

Usage
Applications should be user optimized.
Presentation
Lyophilized from PBS, pH 7.2
Reconstitution
Reconstitute by adding 2 ml sterile distilled water, spin down to remove insoluble particles, divide into small aliquots, freeze and store at or below -20°C.
Storage
Store at 4°C for short term storage. Aliquot and store at -20°C for long term storage. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles. Prior to use, thaw aliquot slowly in the dark at ambient temperature. Spin down and prepare working dilutions by adding sterile phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2). Store working dilutions at 4°C, and preferably use the same day. Remove slight precipitation with centrifugation.
