Specificity
Stains specifically the companion layer (innermost layer of outer root sheath) of the human hair follicle. No cross-reaction with cytokeratins 5 and 6, although there is considerable sequence homology. Species cross-reactivity: mouse.

Usage
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence Microscopy and Western Blot. Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 1:100-1:200. Incubate at RT for 1 hour. Western Blot: 1:2000 using ECL. Immunofluorescence Microscopy: 1:100-1:200 (acetone fixation) and 1:100 (4% paraformaldehyde fixation).
