Human IgA heavy chain.

Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Alkaline Phosphatase (calf intestine), anti-Goat Serum, Human IgA and Human Serum. No reaction was observed against Human IgG F(c). Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1% cross-reactivity against other human heavy or light chain isotypes.

Suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot), ELISA and immunohistochemistry as well as other phosphatase-antibody based enzymatic assays requiring lot-to-lot consistency. Recommended Dilution (s): This product has been assayed against 5.0 ug of Human IgA in a standard capture ELISA using pNPP p-nitrophenyl phosphate NPP-10 as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:1000 to 1:2000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product. Optimal titers for other applications should be determined by the researcher. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

TBS, 1 mM magnesium chloride, 0.1 mM zinc chloride, pH 8.0, 10 mg/ml BSA (IgG, protease free), 0.01% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.
