A 20 residue synthetic peptide ELSRGASAPDPDDVRPLKPC based on the N-terminus of mouse DFF45/ICAD (residues 2-21) was synthesized and the peptide coupled to KLH. This amino acid sequence is found in ICADL and ICADS. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Mouse (100%); Rat (95%).

Specificity
This immunoaffinity purified antibody Detects a ~47kD protein, corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of ICADL and a 28kD protein, corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of ICADS, on SDS-PAGE immunoblots, in mouse and rat tissue extracts. Additional bands at approximately 60kD and 40kD, are also observed on immunoblots.
