Specificity
Stains basal cells and part of the stratum spinosum in normal squamous epithelium and part of the basal layer of prostate gland epithelium. It does not stain other normal simple layer glandular epithelium.

Usage
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200. Formalin- fixed, paraffin-embedded tumor tissue studies, and may be used to distinguish squamous carcinoma from adenoma. Requires high temperature antigen retrieval using 0.01 M EDTA solution; boil for 15 minutes, then cool down for at least 15-20 minutes at room temperature. Positive control: Skin.
