Specificity
Recognizes proteins that contain arginines that are asymmetrically dimethylated including p300, p110, p75 and Sam68. Specificity for asymmetrically dimethylated arginine was determined by ELISA with an unmethylated 'backbone' peptide or an identical peptide containing symmetrically dimethylated arginines. Species cross-reactivity: Human and mouse.

- Western blot
Usage
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Western Blot Analysis: A 1:500-1:1000 dilution of this lot detected p110, p75, and Sam68 in RIPA lysates from Jurkat cells. Included Positive Antigen Control: Jurkat lysate. Add 2.5 ul of 2-mercaptoethanol/100 ul of lysate and boil for 5 minutes to reduce the preparation. Load 20 ug of reduced lysate per lane for minigels.
