A 20 AA synthetic peptide within the N-Terminus domain of human AQPAP (1). This domain is predicted to be cytoplasmic.

Specificity
The 20 AA peptide was found unique to AQPAP without significant homology to any other AQPs. AQPAP from other species are yet to be cloned. Antibody cross-reactivity in various species is not known. Control peptides, because of their low MW (<3kD), are not suitable for Western. It should be used for ELISA or antibody blocking to confirm antibody specificity.

- Western blot (1:500 - 1:2500)
- ELISA (1:5000 - 1:25000)
Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Western Blot:1:500-1:2500 using ECL. ELISA: 1:5000-1:25000. Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1 ug/ml.
