  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

XRCC2 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide corresponding to the N-terminus of human XRCC2.
Human XRCC2.
Immunohistochemistry: 1:200 for 10 min at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.

PBS, pH 7.4, 0.2% BSA, 0.05% sodium azide
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at 12 months.

About XRCC2

O43543 NM_005431 NP_005422.1

XRCC2 Antibody, DNA repair protein XRCC2 Antibody

Involved in the homologous recombination repair (HRR) pathway of double-stranded DNA, thought to repair chromosomal fragmentation, translocations and deletions. Part of the Rad21 paralog protein complex BCDX2 which acts in the BRCA1-BRCA2-dependent HR pathway. Upon DNA damage, BCDX2 acts downstream of BRCA2 recruitment and upstream of RAD51 recruitment. BCDX2 binds predominantly to the intersection of the four duplex arms of the Holliday junction and to junction of replication forks.
