Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Tropoelastin antibody was raised against ala-Lys-Ala-Ala-Ala-Lys-Ala-Ala-Lys-Tyr peptide covalently linked to thyroglobulin. Represents a repeat sequence of elastin that becomes the desmosine crosslinks. Is not present in mature, cross-linked elastin.
Suitable for ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. ELISA: 1:2000. Immunohistochemistry: 1:100. Antigenicity of elastic fiber components can be enhanced by treating with 6 M guanidine HCl, 50 mM dithiothreitol, 20 mM Tris pH 8.0 for 15 minutes. After washing with 20 mM Tris pH 8.0, the slides are treated with 100 mM iodoacetamide in the dark for 15 minutes, washed and stained using normal protocols.
