Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

TRAF6 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide derived from the internal region of the human and mouse TRAF6 (TNF receptor-associated factor 6) protein.
Internal
Recognizes human TRAF6 proteins at ~55kD. Species Crossreactivity: mouse. Reactivity was confirned with human Hela, HEK293, Jurkat and mouse NIH3T3 cell lysates.
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3379 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3379 was determined to be 1:50. Western Blot: 1-3 ug/ml.

Packaging

PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1% sodium azide, before the addition of glycerol to 40%
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

About TRAF6

Q9Y4K3 NM_004620 NP_004611.1

TRAF6 Antibody, RING finger protein 85 Antibody, MGC:3310 Antibody, RNF85 Antibody

TRAF6 is a member of the TNF receptor associated factor (TRAF) protein family. TRAF proteins are associated with, and mediate signal transduction from, members of the TNF receptor superfamily. This protein mediates signaling from members of the TNF receptor superfamily as well as the Toll/IL-1 family. Signals from receptors such as CD40, TNFSF11/RANCE and IL-1 have been shown to be mediated by this protein.
