Antibody Supershift: An Independent laboratory showed that Anti-STAT5 (A&B) supershifted IL-2 induced complexes in both fresh and preactivated peripheral blood lymphocytes. This antibody also supershifted the complexes induced by IL-2, IL-7 and IL-15, but not those induced by IL-4 and IL-13 in fresh peripheral blood lymphocytes. The specificity of the reaction was confirmed by competition with the immunogenic peptide (Lin, et al., 1995) Experimental conditions must be optimized to achieve the best supershift banding pattern (see Lin, et al., 1993). Western Blot Analysis: Not recommended. Immunoprecipitation: Not recommended. Immunocytochemistry: Not tested. Immunohistochemistry: Not tested.
