About STAT3

STAT3 Antibody, Acute-phase response factor Antibody, APRF Antibody, DNA-binding protein APRF Antibody, HIES Antibody

STAT3 is a key signaling molecule for many cytokines and growth-factor receptors and is required for murine fetal development. STAT3 is also constitutively activated in a number of human tumors, possesses oncogenic potential, and anti-apoptotic activities. Following phosphorylation at Y705, STAT3 dimerizes, translocates to the nucleus and binds DNA. Transcriptional activation seems to be regulated by phosphorylation at Ser 727.
