Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
SPN / CD43 antibody was raised against human lymph node cells.
Recognizes the human CD43 cell surface antigen. CD43 is expressed by the majority of leucocytes, with the exception of most B cells. However CD43 expression is seen in some cases of B cell lymphocytic lymphoma and centrocytic lymphoma. CD43 has been used widely as a useful marker of T cells lymphomas in formalin fixed tissues.
Immunohistology: This product requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections.
One of the major glycoproteins of thymocytes and T lymphocytes. Plays a role in the physicochemical properties of the T-cell surface and in lectin binding. Presents carbohydrate ligands to selectins. Has an extended rodlike structure that could protrude above the glycocalyx of the cell and allow multiple glycan chains to be accessible for binding. Is a counter-receptor for SN/Siglec-1 (By similarity).
