Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About SOCS1

O15524 NM_003745 NP_003736.1

SOCS1 Antibody, CIS1 Antibody, CISH1 Antibody, JAB Antibody, JAK-binding protein Antibody, JAK binding protein Antibody, STAT-induced STAT inhibitor 1 Antibody, SSI-1 Antibody, Tec-interacting protein 3 Antibody, TIP3 Antibody, SOCS-1 Antibody, SSI1 Antibody, STAT induced SH3 protein 1 Antibody, TIP-3 Antibody

SOCS family proteins form part of a classical negative feedback system that regulates cytokine signal transduction. SOCS1 is involved in negative regulation of cytokines that signal through the JAK/STAT3 pathway. Through binding to JAKs, inhibits their kinase activity. In vitro, also suppresses Tec protein-tyrosine activity. Appears to be a major regulator of signaling by interleukin 6 (IL6) and leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF).

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human colon carcinoma reacted with SOCS1 Antibody , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Immunofluorescence

Immunofluorescence
Confocal immunofluorescence of SOCS1 Antibody with 293 cell followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green). DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of SOCS1 Antibody in mouse kidney tissue lysates (35 ug/lane). SOCS1 (arrow) was detected using the purified antibody.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
SOCS1 Antibody flow cytometry of WiDr cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
