Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

SLC9A3R1 / NHERF1 / EBP50 antibody was raised against recombinant human His-tagged EBP 50 obtained from bacteria. All His-tag specific antibodies have been removed.
Recognizes EBP 50 from human T84 and Calu3 cells as well as recombinant human protein at ~50kD.
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2196 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2196 was determined to be 5 ug/ml.

Packaging

PBS, 1 mg/ml BSA, 0.05% sodium azide.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

About SLC9A3R1 / NHERF1 / EBP50

O14745 NM_004252 NP_004243.1

SLC9A3R1 Antibody, EBP50 Antibody, NPHLOP2 Antibody, NHERF Antibody, NHERF-1 Antibody, NHERF1 Antibody

Scaffold protein that connects plasma membrane proteins with members of the ezrin/moesin/radixin family and thereby helps to link them to the actin cytoskeleton and to regulate their surface expression. Necessary for recycling of internalized ADRB2. Was first known to play a role in the regulation of the activity and subcellular location of SLC9A3. Necessary for cAMP-mediated phosphorylation and inhibition of SLC9A3. May enhance Wnt signaling.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
Anti-SLC9A3R1 / NHERF1 antibody IHC of human spleen. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B2196 concentration 5 ug/ml.
