Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Mitochondrial uncoupling proteins (UCP) are members of the larger family of mitochondrial anion carrier proteins (MACP). UCPs separate oxidative phosphorylation from ATP synthesis with energy dissipated as heat, also referred to as the mitochondrial proton leak. UCPs facilitate the transfer of anions from the inner to the outer mitochondrial membrane and the return transfer of protons from the outer to the inner mitochondrial membrane.
IHC ofUCP4 in paraffin-embedded formalin-fixed rat brain tissue using an isotype control (top) and LS-C148475 (bottom) at 5 ug/ml.
Western blot of UCP4 in human brain lysate in the 1) absence and 2) presence of immunizing peptide, 3) mouse brain lysate and 4) rat brain lysate using LS-C148475 at 1.0 ug/ml, 0.5 ug/ml and 0.5 ug/ml, respectively.
