Specificity and Use
Human gastric cancer cells.
Recognizes human Sialyl Lewis a epitope expressed on glycoprotein or glycolipid. Reacts strongly with lung adenocarcinoma and an antigen found in cell membranes and cytoplasm of stomach, colon, breast and ovarian cancers. Reacts weakly with stomach mucosa, normal tissue metaplasia of intestinal epithelium, pancreatic acinar cells, coated epithelium of colon, epithelia of pancreatic and gall ducts, renal tubular epithelium and bronchus gland of lung. No reaction with fat, inflammatory or connective tissues.
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, RIA, HPTLC and Adhesion Blocking. Adhesion Blocking: 1-50 ug/ml. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin sections): 1:50. Flow Cytometry: 10 ug/ml.
