Specificity and Use
Rabbit skeletal muscle triads.
Detects Junctional Sarcoplasmic Reticulum in skeletal muscle. It does not cross-react with cardiac muscle. Cross-reacts strongly with Rabbit and Guinea pig, moderately with canine and Rat and weakly with Mouse.
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Immunofluorescence: 1:250; Immunofluorescence staining of junctional sarcoplasmic reticulum results in increased intensity in fast (Type II) skeletal muscle over slow (Type I) skeletal muscle. Western Blot: 1:1500; Detects an ~90kD protein representing junctional SR in rabbit skeletal muscle extracts.
