  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

Raptor / Mip1 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from human RPTOR / Raptor.
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B1631 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B1631 was determined to be 1:50.

Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, 0.09% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.
+4°C or -20°C, Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

About Raptor / Mip1

Q8N122 NM_020761 NP_065812.1

RPTOR Antibody, KOG1 Antibody, KIAA1303 Antibody, RAPTOR Antibody, Mip1 Antibody

Involved in the control of the mammalian target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1) activity which regulates cell growth and survival, and autophagy in response to nutrient and hormonal signals; functions as a scaffold for recruiting mTORC1 substrates. mTORC1 is activated in response to growth factors or amino acids.

Anti-RPTOR / Raptor antibody IHC of human kidney. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B1631 dilution 1:50.

Western blot

Western blot
293T cell extract was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose, and probed with rabbit anti-Raptor antibody. Proteins were visualized using a donkey anti-rabbit secondary conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.
