  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

RAMP1 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide C-DYQSKRTEGIV from the C-terminus of mouse RAMP1 (NP_058590.1; NP_848488.2). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon (82%).
LS-E26760 - Lyophilized - 100 µg - $145.00
Mouse RAMP1. This antibody is expected to recognize isoform 1 (NP_058590.1) only.
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:64000. Western Blot: experiments gave bands at approx. 18kD and 40kD in Rat Brain lysate after 0.3 ug/ml antibody staining. The appearance of a band with much higher molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings in literature with different antibodies (Hilairet, J Biol Chem. 2001 Nov 9;276(45):42182-90.; PMID: 11535606). This protein has a calculated MW of 16.9kD according to Mouse NP_058590.1 and 16.8kD according to Rat NP_113833.1. Recommended concentration: 0.3-1 ug/ml.

Tris-buffered saline, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide
Store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.

About RAMP1

O60894 NM_005855 NP_005846.1

RAMP1 Antibody

RAMP1 is a member of the RAMP family of single-transmembrane-domain proteins, called receptor (calcitonin) activity modifying proteins (RAMPs). RAMPs are type I transmembrane proteins with an extracellular N terminus and a cytoplasmic C terminus. RAMPs are required to transport calcitonin-receptor-like receptor (CRLR) to the plasma membrane.

Western blot

Western blot
Antibody (0.3 ug/ml) staining of Rat Brain lysate (35 ug protein in RIPA buffer). Primary incubation was 1 hour. Detected by chemiluminescence
