Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

Rab3 antibody was raised against peptide corresponding to amino acid residues from the N-terminal region of rat Rab3 conjugated to keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH).
N-Terminus
Recognizes Rab3, a group of closely related GTP-binding proteins (Rab3A, Rab3B, Rab3C and Rab3D) involved in regulating membrane traffic. Rab3 proteins are expressed in high levels in the brain and endocrine tissues but are also found elsewhere. They are localized on exocytic vesicles and in the brain they cycle on and off synaptic vesicles in parallel with the release of neurotransmitters. Many functions have been proposed for the Rab3 proteins, from fusion to docking and the biogenesis of vesicles. They are thought to play an important role in presynaptic vesicle trafficking and priming.
Western Blot: LS-C56987 detects a band of approximately 27kD in rat cortex lysate.
