  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

PTHR2 / PTH2R antibody was raised against synthetic peptide corresponding to the amino acids 99 - 116 of the native molecule. ( EXTRACELLULAR DOMAIN 1 ).
The extracellular domain 1 of parathyroid hormone receptor 2. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor family, particularly abundant in the brain and pancreas. It may be responsible for PTH effects in a number of physiological systems and may play a significant role in pancreatic function. Binds parathyroid hormone, but shows very low affinity for PTHrP. This molecule is expressed in only a few tissues, and its structure and physiologic significance are poorly characterized. Type 2 receptor, is coupled to adenylyl cyclase, ligand binding induces a rise in intracellular concentration of cyclic AMP. PTH-Rec 2 (99-116) 100% PTH-Rec 1 (63-82) 0.06% PTH-Rec 1 (562-580) 0.4%.

PBS, 0.09% sodium azide.

PTH2R Antibody, Parathyroid hormone 2 receptor Antibody, Parathyroid hormone receptor 2 Antibody, PTH2 receptor Antibody, PTHR2 Antibody, Hpth2 receptor Antibody

This is a specific receptor for parathyroid hormone. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylyl cyclase. PTH2R may be responsible for PTH effects in a number of physiological systems. It may play a significant role in pancreatic function. PTH2R presence in neurons indicates that it may function as a neurotransmitter receptor.
