Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Product Description

EP3 antibody LS-A973 is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to EP3 (PTGER3) from human, mouse, rat and other species. Validated for ELISA and IHC. Tested on 20 paraffin-embedded human tissues.
About PTGER3 / EP3
Receptor for prostaglandin E2 (PGE2); the EP3 receptor may be involved in inhibition of gastric acid secretion, modulation of neurotransmitter release in central and peripheral neurons, inhibition of sodium and water reabsorption in kidney tubulus and contraction in uterine smooth muscle. The activity of this receptor can couple to both the inhibition of adenylate cyclase mediated by G-I proteins, and to an elevation of intracellular calcium. P43115 NM_000957 NP_000948.2

Blocking Peptide
LS-E29744 - Liquid - 50 µg 1 mg/ml - $145.00
Immunizing peptide used to generate LS-A973. Useful for pre-absorption and neutralization of the antibody's antigen binding site.
Epitope
Cytoplasmic Domain
Specificity
Human PTGER3 / EP3. BLAST analysis of the peptide immunogen showed no homology with other human proteins.
Usage
Immunohistochemistry: LS-A973 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-A973 was determined to be 4 ug/ml.
Presentation
PBS, less than 0.1% sodium azide.
