Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Rabbit Polyclonal (IgG) to Human Prepro-Neuropeptide Y
IHC - Frozen, Immunofluorescence
Human Prepro-Neuropeptide Y
Human, Rat (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IHC - Frozen
Immunofluorescence (1:400 - 1:800)
Specificity and Use
Synthetic peptide from the prepro-NPY sequence which has no homologies to PP and NPY.
Recognizes Preproneuropeptide Y. Antisera raised against NPY often cross-react with PP and PYY. Absorption with 10-100 ug immunogen per ml diluted antiserum abolishes the staining. Species cross-reactivity: Human and rat.
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence (frozen sections). Immunofluorescence microscopy: 1:400-1:800 with overnight incubation at 2-8?C. Positive control: Stefanini-fixed sections of rat small intestine.
50 µl Sterile, ddH2O or 40-50% glycerol and dilute further in 0.1M PBS with 1% BSA and 0.1% NaN3
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C
