Specificity and Use
PP2Ac / PPP2CA antibody was raised against recombinant human PP2Ca.
Recognizes human PP2Ca (~43kD).
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Western Blot: 1:250-1:1000; Mouse liver cytosol extract was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-PP2Ca (1:250). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a DAP detection system.

Protein phosphatase 2A alpha (PPP2CA), is a PP2A type serine/threonine phosphatase. PP2A members are composed of a common heterodimeric core enzyme (a catalytic subunit C and a constant regulatory subunit PR65 or A) that associates with a wide variety of regulatory subunits (subunit B). PPP2CA is a catalytic subunit that plays a role in transcription, translation, cell cycle control, and the regulation of most major metabolic pathways.
