Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Western blot (applications tested for the base form of this product only)
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Monkey (at least 90% immunogen sequence identity)
Western blot (1:500 - 1:2000) (applications tested for the base form of this product only)
Specificity and Use
POT1 antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide made to an internal portion of the human POT1 protein sequence (between residues 200-300). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human (100%); Monkey (95%); Rat (82%); Mouse (72%).
Tris-glycine buffer, 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.05% sodium azide.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
Component of the telomerase ribonucleoprotein (RNP) complex that is essential for the replication of chromosome termini. Is a component of the double-stranded telomeric DNA-binding TRF1 complex which is involved in the regulation of telomere length by cis-inhibition of telomerase.
Detection of POT1 in HeLa nuclear extracts (25 ug) using LS-C2849 (1:500). ECL detection 1 min. This image was taken for the base form of this product. Alternate forms, such as conjugated, azide-free, or ready-to-use, have not been tested.
