Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Rat Monoclonal [clone NZ-1.2] (IgG2a,l) to Human PDPN / Podoplanin
Western blot, Flow Cytometry

Specificity and Use
PDPN / Podoplanin antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 38-51 (EGGVAMPGAEDDVV) from the platelet-aggregation-stimulating (PLAG) domain of human podoplanin, GenBank no sp|Q86YL7.3|PDPN_HUMAN. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Monkey (100%).
Human PDPN / Podoplanin.
Flow: Cell Surface.
PBS, 0.05% BSA, 0.05% sodium azide
Store at 4°C for short term applications. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
May be involved in cell migration and/or actin cytoskeleton organization. When expressed in keratinocytes, induces changes in cell morphology with transfected cells showing an elongated shape, numerous membrane protrusions, major reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton, increased motility and decreased cell adhesion. Required for normal lung cell proliferation and alveolus formation at birth. Induces platelet aggregation. Does not have any effect on folic acid or amino acid transport.
