Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About PCK1

P35558 NM_002591 NP_002582.3

PCK1 Antibody, PEPCKC Antibody, Phosphopyruvate carboxylase Antibody, PEP carboxykinase Antibody, PEPCK-C Antibody, PEPCK1 Antibody

PCK1 is a main control point for the regulation of gluconeogenesis. The cytosolic enzyme encoded by this gene, along with GTP, catalyzes the formation of phosphoenolpyruvate from oxaloacetate, with the release of carbon dioxide and GDP. The expression of this gene can be regulated by insulin, glucocorticoids, glucagon, cAMP, and diet. Defects in this gene are a cause of cytosolic phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase deficiency.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human cancer tissue reacted with the primary antibody, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. BC = breast carcinoma; HC = hepatocarcinoma.

Immunofluorescence

Immunofluorescence
Confocal immunofluorescence of PCK1 Antibody with HepG2 cell followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green). Actin filaments have been labeled with Alexa Fluor 555 phalloidin (red). DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of PCK1 Antibody in rat primary hepatocyte cell line lysates. PCK1 (arrow) was detected using the purified antibody.

Western blot

Western blot
The anti-PCK1 antibody is used in Western blot to detect PCK1 in mouse liver (Lane 1) and mouse small intestine tissue lysates (Lane 2).

Western blot

Western blot
PCK1 Antibody western blot of NCI-H460 cell line lysates (35 ug/lane). The PCK1 antibody detected the PCK1 protein (arrow).
