Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
P2RY2 / P2Y2 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminal region of the rat P2Y2 receptor (or P2U receptor) protein.
Reacts with the rat P2Y2 receptor. On Western blots, this antibody identifies a single band at ~45-47kD. Reactivity is confirmed with rat brain homogenates. Based on amino acid sequence homology, this antibody may cross-react with mouse, but cross-reactivity with other species is not expected.
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. ELISA: 0.1-1 ug/ml. Western Blot: 1-3 ug/ml.
PBS, pH 7.4, 0.05% sodium azide.
Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C; Short term: +4°C
P2RY2 / P2Y2 belongs to the family of P2 receptors, which is activated by extracellular nucleotides and subdivided into P2X ligand-gated ion channels and P2Y G-protein coupled receptors. This family has several receptor subtypes with different pharmacological selectivity, which overlaps in some cases, for various adenosine and uridine nucleotides. This receptor, found on many cell types, is activated by ATP and UTP and is reported to be overexpressed on some cancer cell types.
