Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
P2RX6 / P2X6 antibody was raised against highly purified peptide corresponding to residues 363-379 of rat P2X6 (Accession P51579).
Recognizes P2X6 Receptor. The epitope specific for the P2X6 receptor is not present in any other known proteins. Species cross-reactivity: Rat. The immunogen sequence is conserved in mouse (15/15) and human (14/17).
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Western blotting: 1:200 using ECL on rat brain membranes.
200 µl deionized water
Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C; Short term: +4°C
P2RX6 / P2X6 belongs to the family of P2X receptors, which are ATP-gated ion channels and mediate rapid and selective permeability to cations. This gene is predominantly expressed in skeletal muscle, and regulated by p53. The encoded protein is associated with VE-cadherin at the adherens junctions of human umbilical vein endothelial cells. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. A related pseudogene, which is also located on chromosome 22, has been identified.
