  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

OGG1 antibody was raised against an 18 aa peptide close to the N-terminus of mouse OGG1.
Recognizes mouse OGG1. Species sequence homology: rat-83%. No significant sequence homology exist with hOGG1. We recommend the use of human OGG1 (LS-C37861 or LS-C9382) for detecting hOGG1.
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.

PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1% BSA.
+4°C or -20°C, Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

About OGG1

O15527 NM_016819 NP_058212.1

OGG1 Antibody, 8-oxoguanine DNA glycosylase Antibody, AP lyase Antibody, HMMH Antibody, N-glycosylase/DNA lyase Antibody, HOGG1 Antibody, OGH1 Antibody, OGG1 type 1f Antibody, MMH Antibody, MUTM Antibody

OGG1 is the enzyme responsible for the excision of 8-oxoguanine, a mutagenic base byproduct which occurs as a result of exposure to reactive oxygen. The action of this enzyme includes lyase activity for chain cleavage. Alternative splicing of the C-terminal region of this gene classifies splice variants into two major groups, type 1 and type 2, depending on the last exon of the sequence. Type 1 alternative splice variants end with exon 7 and type 2 end with exon 8.
