Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
NR4A2 / NURR1 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide comprising residues 513-526 [TERHGLKEPKRVEE] of the human Nurr1 protein. Based on 100% sequence homology, this antibody is also expected to cross react with rat and mouse Nurr1. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Xenopus, Hamster, Elephant, Panda, Porcine, Dog, Bat, Bovine, Horse, Rabbit, Chicken, Opossum, Platypus (100%); Zebrafish, Stickleback, Turkey, Zebra finch, Medaka, Pufferfish (93%).

Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C; Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Nuclear receptor Nurr1, a NR4 Nerve Growth Factor-Like Receptor, has been shown to affect the maturation, migration, striatal target area innervation, and survival of differentiating mesencephalic dopaminergic (DA) neurons. It has been shown that the receptor tyrosine kinase Ret1 is regulated by Nurr1 in midbrain dopamine neurons. Nurr1 binds to target DNA as a monomer, homodimer, or heterodimer (with retinoid X receptors).
Nurr1 staining with Nurr1 polyclonal antibody at a 1:100 dilution in adult rat brain hippocampus. Tissue was fixed in paraformaldehyde and cut into 20 micron sections.
Western blot detection of Nurr1 in 20 ug of human hippocampus tissue lysate (lanes 2 and 4) with Nurr1 polyclonal at 1:1000 dilution followed by AP-conjugated secondary at 1:5000 dilution. MW marker lane 1. Peptide absorption control lane 3.
