  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

NR3C1/Glucocorticoid Receptor antibody was raised against synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to residues surrounding serine 211 of human glucocorticoid receptor (KLH).
Recognizes endogenous levels of human glucocorticoid receptor only when phosphorylated at serine 211. Does not cross-react with other unrelated phosphorylated proteins.
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, ELISA, Immunofluorescence and Immunocytochemistry. Western Blot: 1:1000. Immunoprecipitation: 1:50. Immunocytochemistry (IF): 1:1600.

10 mM sodium HEPES, pH 7.5, 150 mM sodium chloride, 10.1 mg/ml BSA, 50% glycerol.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only.

The glucocorticoid receptor (GR), a NR3 Steroid Receptor, mediates the physiological activities of glucocorticoids that modulate development, homeostasis, stress, inflammatory, and immunologic responses. GR has been shown to mediate negative-feedback signals of elevated glucocorticoid levels; impaired GR signaling is a key mechanism in the pathogenesis of stress-related psychiatric disorders such as depression and anxiety.
