  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

MYO1G / HA2 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide corresponding to an internal region of human Myosin 1 G protein.
human Myosin 1 G protein. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross reactivity with Myosin 1 G from human, mouse, chimpanzee and rat based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Cross reactivity with Myosin 1 G from other sources has not been determined
This affinity-purified antibody has been tested for use in ELISA, western blotting and possibly in immunoprecipitation as well. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. By western blot a band approximately 100 kD in size corresponding to Myosin 1 G protein is expected in the appropriate cell lysate or extract.

0.02 M potassium phosphate, 0.15 M sodium chloride, pH 7.2, 0.01% sodium azide.

About MYO1G / HA2

MYO1G Antibody, HA2 Antibody, Myosin IG Antibody, MHAG Antibody, Myosin-Ig Antibody, Unconventional myosin-Ig Antibody, HA-2 Antibody

Unconventional myosin required during immune response for detection of rare antigen-presenting cells by regulating T-cell migration. Unconventional myosins are actin-based motor molecules with ATPase activity and serve in intracellular movements. Acts as a regulator of T-cell migration by generating membrane tension, enforcing cell-intrinsic meandering search, thereby enhancing detection of rare antigens during lymph-node surveillance, enabling pathogen eradication.

Western blot

Western blot
Anti-Myosin 1G Antibody - Western Blot. Western blot of affinity purified anti-Myosin 1G antibody shows detection of a band ~100 kD in size corresponding to Myosin 1G (arrowhead) in Myosin 1G positive whole cell lysate - lane 1 Jurkat, lane 2 peripheral blood T cells, lane 3 human spleen and lane 4 300.19. Lane 5, 293 cells, appear negative for Myosin 1G. Personal Communication. Stephen Shaw, NCI, Bethesda, MD.
