Specificity
Recognizes the human MUC2 mucin. The antibody recognizes malignant colonic mucosa as well as normal mucosa. In tissue sections, recognizes colon, liver and prostate tissues strongly. Shows no cross-reactivity with MUC1, MUC3 or MUC4 mucins.
