MTA1 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminal region of the human MTA1 protein.
Specific for the C-terminal region of the human MTA1 protein. On Western blots, it identifies doublets at ~80kD. A band of unknown origin is observed at ~150kD. Reactivity has been confirmed with human T47D cell lysates and rat testis homogenates by Western blotting, and with formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human breast cancer tissues by immunohistochemistry. Based on amino acid sequence homology, reactivity with mouse is also expected.
