Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

MMP3 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide C-DPNAKKVTHTLKSNS from the C-terminus of human MMP3 (NP_002413.1). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Chimpanzee, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey (100%); Orangutan, Galago, Marmoset, Mouse, Bovine, Dog, Horse, Rabbit (93%); Rat, Elephant, Bat, Porcine, Opossum (87%); Panda (80%).
LS-E27974 - Lyophilized - 100 µg - $145.00
Immunizing peptide used to generate LS-C155069. Useful for pre-absorption and neutralization of the antibody's antigen binding site.
aa459-473
Human MMP3.
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:128000. Western blot: Approx 52kD band observed in Human Prostate lysates (calculated MW of 54.0 kD according to NP_002413.1). Recommended concentration: 0.1-0.3 ug/ml. An additional band of unknown identity was also consistently observed at 24kD. This band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.

Packaging

Proteins of the matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) family are involved in the breakdown of extracellular matrix in normal physiological processes, such as embryonic development, reproduction, and tissue remodeling, as well as in disease processes, such as arthritis and metastasis. Most MMP's are secreted as inactive proproteins which are activated when cleaved by extracellular proteinases.

Western blot

Western blot
MMP3 antibody (0.2 ug/ml) staining of Prostate lysate (35 ug protein in RIPA buffer). Primary incubation was 1 hour. Detected by chemiluminescence.
