Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

aa937-951
Human MIB / MIB1
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:16000. Western blot: In transfected HEK293 transiently expressing Human MIB1 (myc and DYKDDDDK tagged), a band of approx. 135kD is observed. No bands are observed in mock-transfected HEK293 and the same band is observed using anti-myc antibody. Recommended concentration, 0.5-1 ug/ml. IHC: In paraffin embedded Human Cerebral Cortex shows staining of cytoplasm in the neuronal bodies, on one side of the nucleus. Recommended concentration, 2-4 ug/ml.

Packaging

Tris-buffered saline, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide
Store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.

About MIB1

Q86YT6 AB037744 BAA92561.1

MIB1 Antibody, DIP-1 Antibody, DIP1 Antibody, Mindbomb homolog 1 Antibody, KIAA1323 Antibody, Mind bomb homolog 1 Antibody, Ubiquitin ligase protein MIB1 Antibody, Ubiquitin ligase mind bomb Antibody, ZZZ6 Antibody, DAPK-interacting protein 1 Antibody, Mib Antibody, ZZANK2 Antibody

E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that mediates ubiquitination of Delta receptors, which act as ligands of Notch proteins. Positively regulates the Delta-mediated Notch signaling by ubiquitinating the intracellular domain of Delta, leading to endocytosis of Delta receptors. Probably mediates ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of DAPK1, thereby antagonizing anti-apoptotic effects of DAPK1 to promote TNF-induced apoptosis By similarity.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
MIB1 antibody (2 ug/ml) staining of paraffin embedded Human Cerebral Cortex. Steamed antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6, HRP-staining.

Western blot

Western blot
MIB1 antibody HEK293 lysate (10 ug protein in RIPA buffer) overexpressing Human MIB1 with C-terminal MYC tag probed with (1 ug/ml) in Lane A and probed with anti-MYC Tag (1/1000) in lane C. Mock-transfected HEK293 probed with (1 mg/ml) in Lane B. Primary incubations were for 1 hour. Detected by chemiluminescence.
