Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
IHC - Paraffin, IHC - Frozen, Western blot, Flow Cytometry
Rat MHC Class II I-A
Rat, Mouse (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Protein G purified
IHC - Paraffin
IHC - Frozen
Flow Cytometry (1:50 - 1:100)
Specificity and Use
Rat thymocyte membrane glycoprotein.
Recognizes a monomorphic determinant of the rat I-A antigen present on B lymphocytes, dendritic cells, some macrophages and certain epithelial cells. The antibody cross-reacts with certain mouse strains of MHC haplotypes k and s and analysis of recombinant strains showed that the determinants mapped to the I-A region of the mouse MHC.* This clone has been described reacting with paraffin-embedded material following PLP fixation (periodate-lysine-paraformaldehyde)-refer to Whiteland, J. L. This clone is suitable for use on paraffin embedded material using target unmasking fluid (HIS003)-refer to McKechnie, N. M. et al. and has also been reported for application in Western blotting by Burrows, G. G. et al. Species cross-reactivity: Mouse. Does not recognize BDIX rat strain.
Immunohistochemistry: Frozen, Paraffin. Western Blot. Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:100.
