  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

MALT1 antibody was raised against a recombinant human MALT1/Paracaspase protein fragment corresponding to amino acids 646-885 of GenBank no. AAD46161.1/AF123094. This sequence is also contained in other AP12-MALT1 fusion proteins. Users are encouraged to consult the Bioinformatics data bases for additional information.
The recognizes both human MALT1 isoforms a and b. Tranlocations between the MALT1 gene and other genes, can result in MALT1 chimeric (fusion) proteins of various sizes.

Antiserum, 0.05% sodium azide
Store at -20°C. Aliquot to avoid freeze/thaw cycles.

About MALT1

Q9UDY8 NM_006785 NP_006776.1

MALT1 Antibody, Caspase-like protein Antibody, MLT Antibody, MLT1 Antibody, Paracaspase Antibody, MALT associated translocation Antibody

Enhances BCL10-induced activation of NF-kappa-B. Involved in nuclear export of BCL10. Binds to TRAF6, inducing TRAF6 oligomerization and activation of its ligase activity. Has ubiquitin ligase activity. MALT1-dependent BCL10 cleavage plays an important role in T-cell antigen receptor-induced integrin adhesion.

IHC of MALT1/Paracaspase expression in formalin-fixed human reactive lymph node using LS-C148287 at 1:2000. A. Low magnification. A1-3, high magnification from A: A1, mantle zone. A2, germinal center. A3. marginal zone. Hematoxylin-Eosin counterstain.

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of MALT1/Paracaspase expression using LS-C148287 at 1:2000. HEK293N cells transiently transfected with control (empty) plasmid (Ctl-) or human full-length MALT1 (Ctl+) were used as negative or positive controls, respectively. Freshly isolated human polymorphonuclear neutrophils (PMN) and resting B-cells were negative. MALT1 expression was detected in SKW64, Ramos, and BJAB B-cell lymphoma lines, and3 out of 6 B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) patients.
