  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

MAD1L1 / MAD1 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide (KLH-coupled) corresponding to the carboxy terminal region of Mad-1.
Detects endogenous levels of Mad-1. Does not cross-react with other Mad family members at physiological levels. Species cross-reactivity: Rabbit, Mouse, Human.
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Western Blot: 1:1000. Incubate membrane with diluted antibody in 5% BSA, 1X TBS, 0.1% Tween-20 at 4?C with gentle shaking, overnight.

10 mM sodium HEPES, pH 7.5, 150 mM sodium chloride, 100 ug/ml BSA, 50% glycerol.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only.

About MAD1L1 / MAD1

Q9Y6D9 NM_003550 NP_003541.2

MAD1L1 Antibody, HMAD1 Antibody, MAD1 Antibody, MAD1-like protein 1 Antibody, Tax-binding protein 181 Antibody, TP53I9 Antibody, PIG9 Antibody, HSMAD1 Antibody, Tax1-binding protein txbp181 Antibody, TXBP181 Antibody

Component of the spindle-assembly checkpoint that prevents the onset of anaphase until all chromosomes are properly aligned at the metaphase plate. May recruit MAD2L1 to unattached kinetochores. Has a role in the correct positioning of the septum. Required for anchoring MAD2L1 to the nuclear periphery. Binds to the TERT promoter and represses telomerase expression, possibly by interfering with MYC binding.
