  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

LHX3 antibody was raised against c-terminal portion of mouse LIM-3 protein.
Recognizes mouse Lim-3. Does not appear to cross-react with gsh-4 on tissue sections, but may cross-react in Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Species cross-reactivity: human, rat, frog, fish and LIM-3 protein from whole-mount fish embryo.
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Immunoprecipitation. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:250-1:1000. Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:3000-1:6000. Immunohistochemistry (whole mounts): 1:4000-1:8000. Recommended fixative: MEMFA. Western Blot: 1:2500-1:5000. Immunocytochemistry: 1:200-1:500. Immunofluorescence: Use a secondary antibody conjugated to biotin and then streptavidin-conjugated to fluorochrome. Immunoprecipitation: 1:200.

PBS, 0.1% sodium azide
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

Acts as a transcriptional activator. Binds to and activates the promoter of the alpha-glycoprotein gene, and synergistically enhances transcription from the prolactin promoter in cooperation with POU1F1/Pit-1 (By similarity). Required for the establishment of the specialized cells of the pituitary gland and the nervous system. Involved in the development of interneurons and motor neurons in cooperation with LDB1 and ISL1.
