Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
The galectins are a family of beta-galactoside-binding proteins implicated in modulating cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions. Differential and in situ hybridizations indicate that this lectin is specifically expressed in keratinocytes. It is expressed at all stages of epidermal differentiation (i. e., in basal and suprabasal layers). It is moderately repressed by retinoic acid. The protein was found mainly in stratified squamous epithelium.
Detection of mouse galectin 7 in modified RIPA extract from the epidermis of FVB wild type (wt) or COX2 transgenic (TG) mice by Western blotting with Rabbit anti-Human Galectin 7 (LS-C45672). Immunoprecipitation of Galectin 7 with the indicated amounts of antibody/mg lysate. Immunoprecipitate was subsequently resolved by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with another anti-Galectin 7 antibody.
